For the standard issuance API, supplied.identificationNumber accepts one of the identification numbers below depending on the type of supplied party. Enter digits only, without hyphens (-).

Supplied Party with a Foreign Registration Number

Only the standard issuance API accepts a foreign registration number. The reverse issuance API accepts only a business registration number for the supplied party. In the request body, enter the actual foreign registration number in supplied.identificationNumber. When issuing, Bolta converts the identification number to the NTS (National Tax Service) foreign supplied party format and adds the foreign registration number you entered to the tax invoice’s remarks. For a foreign registration number supplied party request, send the tax invoice remarks (description) as null or omit the field. If you pass a value, the API returns a 400 validation error. If the supplied party’s identification number is not a business registration number, also send supplied.taxRegistrationId as null or omit it. You cannot use a passport number (for example, M12345678) as the supplied party’s identification number.
