Topping up credits
The Bolta API operates on a prepaid credit deduction model. Credits are deducted per API call, and if your balance is insufficient, the API call fails.
You can top up credits at the Developer Center and start using the API right away, with no separate contract required.
Be sure to top up credits before calling the API with a live key. If you call the live API with a credit balance of 0, the request fails. When using a test key (test_), no credits are deducted.
