## Communication security

All API communication is protected with TLS/SSL.

## API key security

Bolta operates test and live API keys separately.

* **Test keys**: Start with the `test_` prefix and operate only in the simulated environment.
* **Live keys**: Start with the `live_` prefix and connect to the NTS for real.
